It’s important to take all the right steps before storing your RV while you are not using it. There is nothing worse than getting ready to use your RV and finding a bunch of moldy food in the fridge because you forgot to clean it! Taking the proper steps to store your RV will prevent many possible health hazards and unnecessary damages from occurring! Kee your RV safe and clean so it will last a long time!

RVing can be a lot of fun, but it can also be a lot of work. One of the most important things you can do to prevent disaster is to store your items properly. Make sure to store your RV in designated areas and pack it securely to avoid accidents. Empty your fridge or other food storages completely to prevent the food from going bad!

Vacuum the whole interior before storing your RV, this will ensure it’s going into storage as clean as possible. There can be gross things that you might not think about like insect larvae that can hide in your carpets. Cleaning it on a regular basis will keep your RV pest-free!

Before you do store your RV, check the fridge. After you’ve emptied it, scrub it down as much as possible. Just because a fridge is empty, doesn’t mean it’s clean!
1. Set expiration dates and labels if necessary to make sure you don’t eat expired food.
2. Place everything else on shelves or racks so that it doesn’t take up too much space.
3. Once it’s empty, gather all of the food items and put them in designated containers.
